Farnborough – Resolution to grant planning permission

Barcroft Estates has secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a new 66-bed purpose-built care home at Devereux House, Farnborough, subject to the completion of the Section 106 agreement. The decision represents a significant milestone in the redevelopment of the former residential care and assisted living facility and follows the submission of the planning application in December 2025. The proposals will bring the long-standing vacant site back into productive use, retaining the façade of the original Devereux House while comprehensively redeveloping the remainder of the site. The sensitive and bespoke design provides a modern, high-quality and fit-for-purpose care home for Anarvo, whilst retaining an important element of the site’s existing character and history.
