A groundbreaking ceremony has marked the start of construction of the new 70-bed purpose-built care home at West Malling, being delivered for Avante Care & Support. Barcroft Estates was joined by Lawrence Baker to mark the commencement of works.
The two-storey care home is being developed on approximately 1.64 acres of former pasture land in an attractive setting close to the historic centre of West Malling. The scheme has been carefully designed to respond to the site’s mature trees and surrounding landscape, providing high-quality care accommodation within an established and well-connected community. Aberdeen Investments is providing the project funding, with completion anticipated in 2026.
