Barcroft Estates has secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a new 75-bed purpose-built care home in Lutterworth, subject to the completion of the Section 106 agreement. The decision represents a significant milestone for the project, with the planning application having been submitted in November 2025 and progressing to resolution within a matter of months.
The development will regenerate a former medical supplies factory site located within approximately half a mile of Lutterworth town centre, providing an opportunity to bring a redundant brownfield site back into productive use. The scheme will deliver high-quality specialist care accommodation in a sustainable and accessible location, close to the town’s established shops, services and community facilities.
