Barcroft Estates has submitted a planning application for a new 74-bed purpose-built care home on a prominent site to the east of Newport, Shropshire. The proposed development will provide high-quality specialist care accommodation alongside the existing Premier Inn, Beefeater restaurant and Mere Park Garden Centre, immediately off the A41.
KWL Architects have been appointed to develop the architectural proposals, with the scheme designed to respond positively to its prominent location and relationship with the surrounding commercial and leisure uses. The project provides an opportunity to deliver purpose-built care accommodation in an accessible location close to the established town.
